The inverter is the heart of your solar system. It converts the Direct Current (DC) produced by your panels into Alternating Current (AC) that powers your home appliances. Choosing the right one is critical.
There are mainly two types: Hybrid and Off-grid. Hybrid inverters can mix grid power with solar, which is perfect for managing load shedding efficiently. Off-grid inverters are totally independent but require larger battery banks.
Sizing matters too. You need an inverter that can handle your peak load—running a microwave, fridge, and lights simultaneously. Undersizing can lead to system trips or failure.

I wish I knew this before buying. I got an off-grid one but really needed a hybrid for my setup.

Great explanation. The hybrid blending feature is a game changer for seamless power.
